So I have had a few questions about pregnancy and diabetes. And seeing a ton of posts about pregnancy announcements and general questions.
My husband and I have been talking about adding another addition to our family. Below is a bit of my/our story.
I had gestational with my daughter she was born January 2017. And than I was diagnosed with T1 a week before her first birthday in 2018. I will be 33 in a few weeks. I have the MEDTRONIC pump and CGM on auto-mode. I still have Birth Control (Implanon, in the arm) and I will be taking it out by the end of the year (waiting for scheduling to get back with me).
We have a girl 12yrs, a boy 8yrs, had a miscarriage just a month before I became pregnant with our youngest who is a girl and at the moment 1 1/2 year old. We tried 5 years before we have our first positive.
I just wonder who has been successful with a scenario similar to mine. I’m really hoping it doesn’t take another 5 years. I had the nexplanon removed in August 2011 the first time I had it, and took 5 years before the first positive that was unfortunately ended in MC.
