Metformin - does it work?

Question

Has anyone successfully conceived using metformin? I feel like I am going to feel sick to my stomach forever and would love to hear about some successes to make it worth it.

I’ve been on it for a few months has not helped me conceive or get a period. But I have started taking myo-inositol powder and ovulated this week!!

I started metformin in December of 2017. It took 6 months, I never had any nausea at all, and it completely regulated my period to a 28 day cycle. Starting the end June 2018 I had regular periods and ovulations. This past month I did my first round of Letrozole while also being on metformin and I am currently almost 5 weeks pregnant. I can’t say it if was the metformin or the letrozole or both but the metformin definitely helped A LOT getting my cycle regular and with ovulation.

Metformin for me, has did some justice I've been receiving my cycle like clock work since I started the meds (Metformin and bc)......however I know things take time so I'm just patiently waiting and I'm starting to take myo-instional and some other vitamins
