So this is my first child, I’m 39wk 3 days, I have a super high pain tolerance and often in the past don’t even notice pain until it’s lasted for 8+ hours (like my gallstone attack).

Anyone else worried that they would know when contractions actually started? Cause that’s me right now, especially cause my hospital is an hour away. I’m worried that I won’t make it to the hospital cause my contractions will be further along than I realize by the time it dawns on me.

My last appointment I was at 2cm dilated and 90% effaced, and I’m pretty sure I lost my mucus plug that day too (not sure, it was a yellowish tinged mucus blob).

So based on that...labor might be close?
