Zoloft while pregnant?

Anyone ever taken Zoloft while pregnant or know someone who did? Was everything ok with baby? 
I have anxiety and ocd . Stopped taking meds while we were ttc. It’s out of control now and my midwife suggested Zoloft or therapy. I’m thinking Zoloft would be REALLY good for me. I feel guilty about how much stress the baby probably feels from me but I’m reading some scary possible side effects for baby. Any input is appreciated 🙏

I didn’t take Zoloft but I took Seroquel which is a bipolar medication. Not usually prescribed during pregnancy, but my depression was really bad. The benefit outweighted the risk. It saved me and my son’s life. He’s 14 months old now and perfectly healthy. Take care of yourself! Healthy mama = healthy baby.

I have been on zoloft since early second trimester. I'm now 39 weeks and everything is good with baby so far! In my case, the stress would have been worse for the baby than the zoloft. Just talk to your doctor and y'all can weigh the risks and benefits of taking it! 😊 Good luck!

I’m currently on it. I too suffer from anxiety and ocd.  I was on something else before becoming pregnant. Once I found out and told my doctor she switched me to Zoloft. Said it was the safest known drug during pregnancy. On mother and child.

Zoloft is perfectly safe to take during pregnancy, it’s not recommended once you hit the 3rd trimester but a low dose is worth it for your mental health and won’t cause any damage to baby.. my anxiety isn’t as bad now, so I was able to wean off by the 3rd trimester, but honestly if my anxiety was still as bad as before I would have kept taking it through the rest of my pregnancy
