As a Christian, how do you feel about using fertility treatments to get pregnant?

"Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord , The fruit of the womb is a reward." Psalms 127:3

As a Christian I do not believe we should use IVF or anything that has the potential to destroy embryos (human from the moment of fertilization). But anything that creates a baby without destroying embryos is okay in my mind.

I am praying with you.  God is well able to do exceedingly abundantly above anything we can even imagine.  He will heal. He will restore. Encourage yourself in the Lord and maintain your faith.

I feel that God leads us in the directions we are meant to go. Not always can we do things on our own so God will send people to help us when we need it. I trust God and pray every night that God will bless me with a child. I go for an IUI next week and I am praying that God will guide the doctor, He sent to help me. I think that as long as you know God is in control and without him nothing is possible then everything is fine. No one can step in as God so as long as a person isn't trying to be God in the process everything is fine. I do not agree with messing with DNA or trying to clone specimens because it begins to cross a boundary.

I was asking myself this question the last few days, I just suffered a miscarriage at 17w5days . I prayed so hard for God to bless my husband and I with a child . We believed God for a son, and everything was going well until last Sunday my water broke and my child could not be saved . I had a few days where I blamed God and was angry that he would let me go through this after all the pain I had been through in my life before .My son brought so much joy into my life . but now that I am 7 days post miscarriage I can only think of the future and conceiving more children . I have read about fertility drugs such as Clomid Etc and wondered was this stepping on the faith I have in God when I know he can do this all by himself .

I suffer from stage 4 endometriosis. My husband and I were surprisingly blessed with our son in 2011. The Endo was suppressed up until last year. It came back with a vengeance. I had surgery in April in hopes that getting rid of the severe scar tissue and endo would help us get pregnant again. It's been a very difficult time as surgery didn't help me feel any better either. I've prayed relentlessly about what God wants me to do. I came across posts from fellow Endosisters referencing Clomid. I had never heard of it. I prayed some more and did more research. I can't continue to live in this debilitating state so we either get pregnant now or never. We'll be starting Clomid soon. I continue to pray and feel like this is the path God is leading me on...
