I can't get a guy out of my head?!?

What do i do!?! I met a guy who i absolutely like a lot and when he gave me his number I was in complete shock! We decided to get together and chat and after a long I'm depth talk I found out that he was more interested in moving fast and I wasn't. I really like him but we agreed that we weren't going to get anywhere if we couldn't meet in the middle somewhere. So it ended as fast as it started but I just can't seem to forget about him! How do you just forget someone?? It's driving me crazy! It's been a week! This is probably just pointless venting but I'm just so frustrated.
