When to stop Swaddling?

My son will be 11 weeks old on Friday, for the past month his grandma has said; “isn’t he too old to be swaddled?” I guess it’s all about preference and each baby is unique but what’s your thoughts? My son sleeps so much better swaddled. He’s always loved it.

I stopped when the babies started fighting the swaddle lol  
If he still loves it, I’d keep swaddling

🤦‍♀️ my daughter was about 1yr when I stopped ... shes about to be 6 and when shes sick she will bring her sheets and ask me to make her burrito so she can sleep ...  soo in reality i still swadle her lol

I went with what my baby wanted. As a newborn he hated us swaddling him around 3-4 months he started to move his hands a lot and my SO swaddled him one night and for about 3 months he couldn’t sleep without being swaddled. Then he wanted to sleep with one hand out and then free completely.

I didn’t stop til she started rolling over. About 3-4m. Even now, she likes to be wrapped up snuggly in her little wolf blankie. 😁

Try a sleep sack. Usually, the recommendations are that you stop swaddling when baby can roll.

Your gram is correct according to the AAP. You should stop swaddling by 2 months before baby begins to roll. Try switching to a zipadee dee
