Can't feel baby's head...

Does anyone understand head engagement etc? I'm 36 weeks and baby's head is so low in my pelvis that we can only feel it's shoulders. Anyone have any idea what station this is or if it's engaged? I've been told nothing by my midwife and even at my scan today they could barely see baby's head. Wish it would hurry up and make its exit! I'm in so much pain! X

PS I say it, as after 7 scans we still have no idea if it's a girl or boy as the legs have been crossed every time!
