I received this information from the radiologist. Does this mean that there is no blood flow to support a polyp? Does a polyp require blood flow? I’ve had super irregular cycles and was just diagnosed with PCOS after a hormone change during my previous pregnancy which ended in miscarriage. I could definitely be 4w2d but I’m just not sure... my hpts are coming back negative and I got blood work done today but no results yet.

Answer

There is usually blood flow seen with polyps, but it could still be a cyst and not related to a polyp, or it could be a gestational sac. Only way to tell is to see how your blood work is.
