I have been off of birth control since July of 2017 and was diagnosed with PCOS in Oct of 2017. I have only been having periods since then when I take Progesterone. I am currently on Cycle Day 68 and started Metformin today. I will be taking 500mg a day working up to 2000mg per day. Has anyone had success ovulating and getting pregnant this way? I am really wanting to get pregnant ASAP and am hoping the Metformin will do the trick without having to wait several months and then start Clomid.
