Poll question: How old were you when you realized you were sexually attracted to females? 
Comment: How old were you when you came out to your friends and family? How did they react and did it effect your relationship with them? 
- I realized I liked girls when I used to stare at my brothers porno magazines when I was like 8? Maybe 9? I would gawk at the girls and the males disgusted me 😂 I came out in 6th grade, I was 11 and my parents and friends were very supportive. My mother has always been a super accepting person and my grandmother was also a lesbian so it went very well. My dad was just happy he didn’t have to worry much about being a grandfather too soon 🙄🙄 It was great I didn’t have to hide it. I ended up dating the first guy ever my senior year and we now have a baby 😂 So I’ve lived most of my life as a lesbian, it was a shock to everyone when I started dating him. Took a few years to adjust adjust 😂😂 On the plus side, we check out girls together so that’s fun 😅

See, my story is I was exploring my sexuality with girls at a very young age but i couldn’t understand what it was and why it happened with all my friends except one 🤔 we were literally kissing and touching each other’s kitty cats 😭🤷🏽‍♀️ and this was elementary, there was no sensation there yet because we haven’t hit puberty and i never thought anything of it.. then i finally got to middle school and one of my best friends said she wanted me and was attracted to me even to this day she’s still off and on with me in between her many bfs 🤣🤷🏽‍♀️ but then in high school some girl said she had a 2 year old crush on me so we became friends and she ended up graduating but came back for me in the summer to hang and ask me out .. I never got to come out to my parents, i was forced out on instagram i had posted an anniversary pic of us and a supposed friend showed their mom and her mom texted my mom and my mom came to me crying, my mom wanted nothing to do with me for awhile, she would make very hurtful jokes and said she now had three boys and one girl (my younger sister) and would call me a dyke 😒🤷🏽‍♀️ it took 4 years for us to get back on a good page and i had a few more experiences during that time but now a year or so ago i had my first real sexual relationship with a guy and now our baby girl is due in a 1 week and a few days & we’re not together 💁🏾‍♂️😅 but i miss the feeling of another girl 😭😭😭😩

I grew up in a very religious and conservative family but always felt an attraction to girls. Ive never been with one but I know I have sexual feels for women. I was always super super hesitant to identify as anything other than straight and felt ashamed for my attraction to women but in my mid 20s I started to become comfortable with letting some people know I was bi. My bf has really helped me feel comfortable with my sexuality and embrace whatever I feel so now I don’t hide it from friends. Though I haven’t “come out” publicly. And deff not to my family. 
But yeah now my bf and I check out girls together and I can be honest with myself and not be ashamed of this side of me 😊😊

Okay, so, I didn’t want to come out. I am bi-sexual. My parents found out from a ‘friend’ of mine. She’s a bitch. So when they asked me I just started crying and I was so pissed off that I didn’t get to tell them. My parents didn’t understand. I was 14 when they found out. Now I’m fifteen and they don’t really care anymore, because I’m in a relationship with a guy.  Idk man I just hate that I couldn’t stay in my closet

I was a lot you get when I went through the “playing with barbies instead of Kens” and “wanting to play lesbian house with my friends all the time” but somewhere between 8th and 9th grade I had my first kiss which happened to be with a girl and that really confirmed it for me lol. I’ve only dated one girl since then (i’m in 11th grade now) but even after having sex with both guys and girls I think I’ve come to my conclusion that I’m just gay as hell. I only recently came out to my parents and neither are supportive but both seem to be somewhat accepting. My girlfriend is still allowed over with the same general rules that applied when I would have boys over. (She’s not allowed to spend the night anymore 😫) but I’ve felt so much better about my sexuality since coming out to my parents and since most people in my life are supportive and accepting.

I was 17 when I began to question my sexuality. I grew up thinking people can be only gay or straight so it took a while to come to terms with being bisexual. I didn't really need to come out to friends. There just came a day when we were catching up and they started to ask me if I had a girlfriend or boyfriend. I still don't feel safe coming out to family though.

i knew at 13 but wasn’t like sure cause i thought i was young n dumb but i’ve realised i was not dumb and i was indeed correct about the fact that i like girls. i’m 15 nearly 16 now and i’ve told some people like 3 guys i totally trust but i haven’t told my close friends. because i feel as though they would judge me behind my back and think i have a crush on them when i am totally not attracted to them at all
