How were you able to have twins? Genes? IVF? Naturally?

Hi every body! I wanted to see how many people wanted twins but known they didn't have no twin in their family giving them less chances to conceive them.

How were you able to get pregnant with twins?
Planning? Or just happened?

Mines just happened. I removed my more a and was pregnant within a few weeks

I found out this morning I'm pregnant with di/di twins, we didn't do anything special and they don't run in our families. We're both still freaking out a little bit. Lol. Babies measuring 7w4d and 7w5d. We have one child already, our son who just turned 2. I was expecting just another singleton. But now I know why I was sick! I didn't have any nausea on my son's pregnancy.

I'm was a twin and it runs strongly in my family. We had an iui done due to my extremely long cervix and I'm prego with twins :)

My father has an identical twin and my bfs mom has a twin brother so we always knew it could be possible for us to end up with twins. We fell pregnant early on in our relationship even though we were using birth control. When we went in for an early dating scan, we found out that there was 3 buns in the oven, but unfortunately found out that there were no heartbeats.. After 2 more unplanned and early miscarriages each on different contraceptives, we stopped birth control altogether thinking it was possible that it was the reason our pregnancies, however unplanned they were, kept ending early. We finally decided late June to start trying for a baby and here I am, going on 8 weeks pregnant, and according to Monday's ultrasound, it's twins!!

Tried for 2yrs nothin happend decided to give up and get on with our life's few weeks later found out I was 4 weeks pregnant with natural twins :)
