My daughters name is Lilith but because I live in the south somehow no OK me can pronounce the double L it drives me crazy it's not hard to say but we call her lily for short and since we've noticed there are so many Lily's here but we was gonna name her Liliana Ik someone with a baby names layana

It's a lovely classic name I've only heard once. Popularity might depend on where you live too.

In the US, it is significant more common among 6-10 year olds than it is among new babies. 
That said, it still isn't uncommon. In the US, it's number 33 for popularity among baby girls. So it's fairly high up there in popularity, but not crazy either. It's not like the top ten in terms of overuse. For more concrete context, 3 out of every 1000 baby girls in the US were named Lily in 2017.
