My doctor and I scheduled my induction for the 25th which is 4 days before my due date. He offered the 25th or the 1st and because I was supposed to be working up until then (I’m an ER nurse in the busiest ER in KY) I decided to go with sooner rather than later because I couldn’t fathom working overdue. But they ended up taking me off the 19th because my job was getting too difficult. So now I’ll be unpaid until my baby is delivered then will start my short term disability.

So I’m scheduled for induction Thursday with obvious high hopes he’ll come on his own before then.

Anyways everyone keeps telling me to hold off on the induction to decrease risk for complications but I’m dying to meet my little man, it’s already scheduled, and we’re ready! Thoughts??
