So yesterday morning (oct 20th) at around 0130 I felt a big pop but no fluid so I went back to bed. Throughout the day I had some leaking. Around 1800 I had a big gush of fluid with an empty bladder. So I called L&D they told me to come in. Before I went in I changed my underwear, by the time I got to the hospital (20 min drive) my underwear was wet again. they tested the fluid from my underwear and it came back 100% positive for amniotic fluid. I asked if they wanted to check me vaginally before I went pee and cleansed the area down there and they said no they would check me after. I went pee and then they checked me and the test came back negative. The did a full exam, ultrasound and everything came back normal. The only thing that was weird was when they checked my cervix they said they didn't feel my bag but felt babies head. They ended up sending me home and said maybe I have a high leak. Well last night I kept waking up with weird cramps, and this morning I had the uncontrollable urge to vomit. I puked up all stomach acid, and then had diarrhea. Again after an empty bladder I had another gush. I truly feel like I'm leaking fluid and am not comfortable that they sent me home. I am 38 weeks today. What would you do? Any advice welcome.
