Age gaps with your kids?

I have 2 kids (2yr 8mths apart) who are super close.. currently 5yr old girl and almost 8 yr old son.. we have been ttc for over a year with 2 mc and im starting to worry if the age gaps between my kids and a new baby will be too much.. whats your thoughts please

Everything will turn out just fine. They will love their younger sibling. A benefit of the age gap is that they are older and that they have each other when you may be more focused on the baby at times.

I have a 9 year old & am due in January. I don’t see age gaps being that big of a deal, after all me and my sister are 13 years apart.

I think that's actually a nice age gap! My first 2 are 2 1/2 years apart, 2nd and 3rd 14 1/2 months apart (this was waaaaaayyyy too close together) 3rd and 4th 4 years apart, 4th and 5th 5 years apart 5th and 6th 3 1/2 years apart, by far my favorite age gap of all was ther 5 year age gap! They're very clear albeit its different closeness but they just adore each other!

I only have one kid, but I have a brother 4 years younger than me, and 2 sisters 14 and 15 years younger (technically half sisters, different moms, thus the big gap). Yes, siblings have different relationships with age gaps, but they’re all great.

My sister is 23(24 in January), I'm 22, my other siblings are 21, 20, 12 and 9. I love the close ages just because it was so much easier when I was growing up and we all had each other at school and hard times like that. I'm more distant with my sister that's 12 than my other siblings because we are all so close. I want my kids to be close in age as well.

Thanks ladies... guess by the sounds of it doesnt matter too much... i think i prob over thought too much..
I have a 14yr age gap with my little brother.. were are close but like you say in a diff way more of a second mum/sis as im protective of him...
Think maybe it is because im a twin and iv always had her by my sis in life and id love my kids to have some sort of closeness like we share...but twins def have a diff connection or bond and reading this makes me realise sibs all have their own unique connections no matter the age gap.. so thanks again x
