My DSS is 13 and mildly autistic. He has a fungal rash that just keeps getting worse even with the cream they gave us. He keeps scratching at it and digging it open saying it's so itchy, which is understandable. When I'm with him though, he doesn't touch it or even talk about it. We are at my in laws and yesterday morning my MIL caught him picking the scabs off and eating them. 😷 She discreetly told me so she wouldn't embarrass him and when I asked him about it he admitted it. He still eats his boogers so it wasn't a total surprise. We have a Dr appointment in an hour but idk what to do, I obviously can't keep my eyes on him at all times. He mostly picks at it when he goes to bed and at school. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! TIA!
