Did anybody have what they thought was their period (normal cramps and bleeding) but still ended up being pregnant?

I’ve already got positive tests since Wednesday and they’re still getting darker. But I had cramping and bleeding for two days, not severe but like my normal period just shorter. Still some light bleeding today but barely any cramping. I know I’m probably being too hopeful but I have to hold onto something.

HCG was 16 yesterday. Go back tomorrow (Monday) to see if it doubled. The nurse said it’s possible it’s still just super early but the levels are probably going down. This wait is torture.
