Smoking while Pregnant? So I smoke pot as well as trying to conceive a baby but I'm not sure if I'm pregnant yet. What should I do?

I have to test on the 30th of this month and I want to be so bad but don't want to quit smoking if it's not true

I used to smoke daily, but thank god I quit while trying to conceive because at my first prenatal appointment, the blood panel they did included a drug screening. The craziest part is that they didn’t tell me they were going to test for drugs. They said it was a state mandated blood panel for the first prenatal visit for all expecting mothers. She said it was HIV, hepatitis, blood type, etc but never mentioned the drug test. I came up negative for all drugs of course since I haven’t smoked since January. If you live in a state where it’s still illegal, you might wanna quit. It was hard for me to quit but I was fine after the first couple weeks and saved a ton of money by quitting too. It’s a small sacrifice to make for a short time, and it will be worth it in the end!

Used to smoke everyday. Blunts after blunts. Once I found out I was pregnant. I quit ever since and haven’t smoked. After giving birth is when I’ll take a hit. Lol

They usually do a drug panel at your first prenatal visit. Unless it’s legal where you live, be aware of the possible repercussions of testing positive.

I live in California so it’s legal however at my first prenatal blood screening I WAS tested, i quite the day I found out I was pregnant so it was out of my system by my 12 wk blood work screening, the first week or so was REALLY hard but now I don’t even think about it... honestly try to cut down then out... better safe than sorry!

A lot of people on the app say "drink till it's pink" and I think the same would apply here. Personally if you can stop, I would. What I would do is don't smoke in the tww and then if you aren't pregnant go ahead. But you have to decide what you're comfortable with :)

Smoked a 3.5 just about every night before I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks. Weed isn’t legal in my state but no one drug tested me for it, or my friends who are moms as well. You’re good but if you feel like it could hinder you then 🤷🏾‍♀️ 10 weeks now and my baby is measuring good with a strong heart beat. Good luck to you

I wasn’t a huge pot smoker but i did smoke regularly. I was high when my boobs started hurting really bad. Took a test the next day and came out positive, stopped smoking ever since.
