It should only matter if the name is important to you...I picked gavin for my son because my sister helped pick it and she's very important to me:)

There are some associations with names that I'll typically be like "well, by the time they're in elementary and middle School, no one will know who/what that is" but I suspect tug will be a euphemism for male masturbation for a long while. And adults at least will know. He won't escape that. I understand it may have deep meaning but consider your last name (mine would be SO bad with it because it's the plural of a man's name, so it would literally sound like a bunch of men with that name are getting a hand job), consider school and that he'll have to put it on a resume one day. If in the end, you still feel that strongly about it, it's your baby and it's your choice. But I do suggest you consider every aspect of it before deciding.
