Looking for a good OB in Utah (Sandy/SLC) who listens and trusts my decision making. Had a kind of bad experience with a controlling midwife (loved the other 3 in her group but she was on call the night my daughter arrived). Despite the terrible and unfeeling “care”, it went well and I delivered naturally so I know the ropes now. Midwives are just hard to find on my insurance and I’m looking for a provider who won’t treat me like I’m stupid for not wanting a medicated birth, for taking every precaution against a c-section, and who won’t try forcing interventions on me unless actually necessary.
