Late period

So the app is telling me that my period was supposed to start a few days ago and it still hasn’t. Me and my boyfriend do have sex a lot but I’m not on birth control nor does he use a condom but he does pull out. Yes I know it’s stupid of us not to use any protection.. well my boyfriend always keeps up with my period and he’s now worried I might be pregnant because he pre cums a lot. Should I go ahead and take a pregnancy test or should i wait a little bit??
