Husbands idea...good or bad

I’m pregnant with my second child and my husband swears up and down if we have a boy we are going to name him after my husband (the baby will be a Jr). Some days I’m ok with it and other days I’m not. Here are the issues.... a lot of the family has said if that does happen they will either call the baby RJ or Jace....I can not stand the name/nickname RJ and my husband said he doesn’t want anyone to call the baby Jace. I don’t know what to do, my husband is pretty set on it happening but I don’t see it going well.

His name is Ryan Jace

P.S. he only want to cause his dad and brothers name is the same.
