So did anyone else the woman who ran the marathon free bleeding? What does everyone think of this?

I understand her point. However as a nurse, I know how unsanitary it is for other people.

I get it but it's unsanitary. Free flow all you want at your own home where it doesn't affect others. But to think someone would do this in a public place maybe even a grocery store where my toddler is walking around and maybe falls on the ground where blood might be sickens me.

I haven't seen that. I'm not as shocked as I think I should be ... I cannot understand why we are so ashamed by our natural cycles. I feel like it's unsanitary. It's blood at any rate, but I get what she's saying.
