My husband and I just got married at the beginning of September. We are high school sweethearts and waited nearly 8 years before tying the knot. I have been taking the pill since I was 15 (when my husband and I started having sex). We have wanted to have a baby since we graduated from high school, but waited because we had other goals we wanted to attain before starting a family. The week of our wedding I finished off my monthly pack and decided not to start the next months pack. It was been 1 month and 20 days since my last cycle. I have read that sometimes after stopping birth control, especially after taking it for so long, your body can take a couple of months for you periods to reset themselves. I have taken two tests and both are negative. Should I wait and see if I get a period soon? Take a couple at home tests? Or call my doc and get a blood test?
