My 12 week old (13weeks tomorrow) started part time daycare last week. I wasn’t stressed at all, it’s a good childcare center and she had mastered taking a bottle while I was away (she’s exclusively BF). About 4 hours into her first day I received a phone call from the director asking if she had taken a bottle before bc “she acts like it’s a foreign object”. Obviously I started to stress out . My husband took off work early to pick her up and once he got her home she took her bottle just fine. Long story short my LO was making small improvements each day she was there. Keep in mind this is part time , M/W/F so if we need consistency then the schedule is obviously a road block.

So today she goes to daycare and I feel pretty good, I never even called for an update bc she did so well on the previous Friday I didn’t think it was necessary. My husband picks her up and my LO looks SO tired . They said she only slept for 45 min out of the 7 hours she was there . Took part of 1 bottle. My heart broke ! I hate that she’s not adjusting and I also hate that those sweet women at the center are having to suffer through it also!

Anyone else have similar stories or hope to offer me ?!
