Candida Glabrata species. Thoughts?

So ive been suffering from thsi mucousy yellow vaginal discharge for a year, am a virgin, but have recieved oral. Free of stds. Only recently did my new doctor say that the candida that kept showing up on my swabs was candida glabrata, a different type of yeast whicy explains my absence of itch and the different type of discharge. Has anyone else experienced this and how were you treated? Its resistany against most azole medication

I had a similar type of hard to treat yeast. I ended up taking a non fda approved antifungal pill (not approved for vaginal yeast) called itraconozole. It took several pills a day for months to treat. I had my liver tested every 6 weeks to make sure it wasnt damaging me.

I googled it, and it said that the discharge is still thick and white. Were you prescribed fluconazole and is it working? That description sounds like BV which is bacterial vaginitis and would be treated with an antibiotic.
