Boyfriend problems???

So yesterday was me and my boyfriends ten month anniversary. We saw each other for like 10 minutes before I had to go to work. And today I asked him if I was gunna see him, and he told me “I don’t have to see you everyday.” Just because he wanted to chill with his bros. lmao what do I even do?? Should I be upset?

I’d be upset tbh... Full disclosure, I’m clingy and I need a lot of attention (which is something I’m willing to acknowledge, and it’s also something my boyfriend finds attractive, thankfully).
But I would be upset. Anniversaries are a big deal, and even if you can’t be together on the day of due to life circumstances, you should still try to do something when you can, if one of you wants to make a big deal out of it. And your boyfriend should want to spend time with you!
I definitely don’t think this is an issue to break up over or anything, but I do think you guys should have a talk about how much attention/time together you each feel like you need, and how much you’re each willing to give. This may be a compatibility issue; which is something that can be worked through! But it might take some conscious work. Good luck!!
