Trying to conceive after vasectomy reversal

Hi!

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 1 month. I am 28 (going to be 29 in December) and my husband is 44. He had a reversal done a year and a half ago and tests show that the procedure was a success. I’ve been on birth control on and off before we got married in August, I recently stopped early September since we are trying to conceive. Long story short has anyone else tried to conceive after a reversal? I have an 8 year old daughter from a previous relationship and I’ve had a health check up, everything is in order so now I have my fingers crossed that we’re able to conceive very soon!
