Can’t see embryo !?

So according to my calendar I thought I was 8 weeks today. Had my first appointment tonight and they didn’t find an embryo , not the best feeling for first appointment of first pregnancy. So They think i might be more like 4 to 6weeks , new appointment next week to get ultrasound. I’m stressing it’s just an empty sac with no embryo. Anyone had this happen please tell me it’s just too early to tell . 😞

Thank you everyone, I’m been beyond scared and nervous hearing all this and not knowing. My anxiety has been taking over lately. Ultrasound next week, fingers crossed 🤞

This happened to me! Got told I was 7 weeks based on my last period, but we went for the ultrasound and the same thing happened in which I was told either it hadn’t progressed into a baby or I was actually only 5 weeks. Told to do some bloods and wait 2 weeks...HCG is still rising so my doctor says I was just late to ovulate as working out the date of arrival is based upon an average 28’day cycle or something and mine is 34days, hence a later date of conception!!!! I’m sure you are in the Same boat as me and bubs just a little younger 👌🏽👌🏽💛😍

My first pregnancy in Feb was a blighted ovum, I found out at my 12 week scan everything was normal I had all the symptoms and no bleeding so it came as a complete shock. My next pregnancy in June I had a scan at 6 weeks they said I looked more like 4 and asked me to come back a week later. I still looked 4 weeks but they couldn’t find the sac anywhere and my hcg was increasing so I had surgery and they found he baby in my tube. I found out I am pregnant again the first attempt against all odds (only one tube and a fibroid) following my ectopic and have again had an early scan this time they couldn’t see anything abdominally but they could transvaginally a baby with the start of a heartbeat I go back next week to see progress. I hope it works out well for you at this stage it can go either way but keep faith, I know that’s hard to hear I will keep my fingers crossed for you x

This was the report I got at the hospital on Friday. No embryo and I thought I was 6w 6d. Asked to come back in two weeks to check again so fingers crossed

Same news for me yesterday. I am 6w7d and I thought they would do a transvaginal ultrasound but all they did was the normal on top of my lower stomach. I had gotten a ultrasound at 4 weeks. Yesterday it seemed as though they saw the same exact thing from 2 weeks ago.

That's what happened to me. I went in and they did a transvaginal ultrasound but couldn't see a fetus or yolk sac. Instead of measuring me at 6 weeks they measured me at 5. My doctor said it was too small to see. I have another appointment soon so hopefully I can see something then.

Hmm...also happened to me at 8 weeks....wasnt good news....happened to my sister...and her dates were off 🤷‍♀️Hope its the latter for u!
