Test results / next steps

Everything is good.  The only test she says seems a little low for my age, is AMH, but I guess technically for the definition of fertility I'm fine.  She said anything above 1 is considered fertile and mine was 1.7.  But for women my age the average is about 5.  So it's lower than average but enough that I am still fertile.  AMH is the one that determines egg quantity, not quality.  So my quality is good. So basically we have unexplained infertility.  She said there's no reason we shouldn't be pregnant by now, but just that some times it takes a while.  

So now my options are:

1) just keep trying 

2) clomid

3) IUI 

4) clomid & IUI

I am really concerned about the risk of multiples with clomid, and of course taking clomid means blood draws, which of course I'd like to avoid.  So I think what we are going to do is just the IUI this cycle.  If this does not work then next cycle I will go ahead and take clomid and do IUI. Seems to me though that if everything is good, I'm fertile and he's fertile and it's just taking a while that this might be a way to speed it up.  And I don't want to add clomid unless it's necessary.  And if I'm fertile and he's fertile then to me the only logical thing is that the sperm is just not making it to the egg.  So maybe the sperm just needs that little extra push, skip half its journey lol.  Fingers crossed this will be it!
