I'm interested in a guy BUT I don't know what to do

So there is this guy at my job (I work at a casual dining restaurant) who is one of the cooks, and I thought he was cute but I wasnt interested. He seemed to me like he flirted with all the other girls lowkey. All the girls probably have a crush on him. So that's why I kept myself from falling. But then he became more charming with his personality. And then boom I fell and I know I'm just going to get hurt. I've been interested in guys many times but none have had any interest back. But I realized something. Maybe guys are never interested in me back because I dont show my true self? That I dont let people get to know me.

Can I make this time different?
