Do you like talking to random people at the park?

I hate when I'm at the playground with my daughter and random people feel the need to strike up full on conversations with me. Sometimes we'll shorten our trip if there's too many people. Anyone else feel this way? Or am I just crazy?

I hate talking to people, but I want my son to make friends, so I will sick it up for him if he finds someone to play with.

I talk to random people everyday. I'm a Jehovah's Witness so I find out a sorts of interesting things. I like talking to people in general though. If I were introverted I probably wouldnt like it as much.

I wish people would talk to me more. I stopped going to a mommy and me class because the other moms had a clique going. They would talk to my baby but pretty much ignored me. I've become a regular at the thrift shops because people are so much friendlier in them.

I have pretty bad social anxiety. Unfortunately, I am also like a magnet that attracts people who want to tell me their whole life story...lol! I can handle it, as long as they aren't trying to become bff's and get my phone # and such.

I'm very uncomfortable with people. I have a couple close friends but my husband is the one who I talk to the most and spend 90% of my time with. I prefer to be a homebody type but with my son being 6 I have to slowly get over this. I said to DH last night that this will be the last year it's just us for DS bday and next year we can plan things like at a play place or something.
