Divorce and pregnant?

Question

I know I obviously have to wait until the child is born, but anyone who's fought for FULL custody of the baby, what did the courts go by? 
What nit picky things did they look into?

-I'm a military defendant right now, so obviously I will be moving across an ocean(HI-TX) and be jobless, and wondering how that will effect me.

If you want a divorce you do not have to wait until the baby is born to get a divorce. Unless you are unfit as a mother they will give you majority custody in the beginning especially if you are breastfeeding. Since you are overseas if he agrees the military will pay to send you back to Texas, its called an early return of dependant(s), but that is all on the service member you would have no control over that.

You're generally not expected to work  in the opinion of the court if your child is under 2 and it's nearly impossible to be a full time single parent in the military. Chances are your ex is going to be paying you child support but no alimony.
