What was your second c-section like?

So I am pregnant with my second child and my first was a C-section. My hospital is not equipped to do a the birth so once you have one C-section you're not allowed to have another unless I want to drive over an hour away to the next closest hospital. So I am going to have a second C-section. What has your experiences been with multiple C-sections? Tell me stories please, reassure me ;-)

Literally as soon as the spinal wore off I was wanting to go home! I felt little to no pain with my second, rather than first I thought I was dying. I didn't pay much mind to it at all when I went home and busted my stitches but even that didn't hurt.

My second c-section was better than the first. My doctor let me go home a day early  since I was doing well.

Honestly, like 10x better!
I was actually awake the entire time this go around as opposed to being so out of it that I didn't remember anything the first time.
I was able to get up & moving right away despite having lost almost enough blood to have a blood transfusion. (Obviously that doesn't happen with everyone so don't worry.)
I feel like I healed quicker & better this time.

3 csections got easier each time! N 3rd went back to work 7 days later!

My first two were both emergencies. And I will say that my second was way easier to recover from! Mainly bc I knew some tricks to help me move around, and I wasn't afraid to say when I was in pain or needed help. I knew myself better and what would fatigue me fastest.

Take your medication. Don't be afraid to ask for something stronger if you need.

My 1st c section hurted so bad and da pain was bearing. But wit my second it was nothin I actually moved around better than da first time n my scar n stitches heal quick n Gud

My second one was so much smoother than the first since it was scheduled. My first was an emergency. I found a midwife and hoping to have a vba2c! Best of luck and quick healing 😊

My second was the worst. I'll be having my fourth on Friday. Nervous..

2nd was better than 1st. (Emergency)
Recovery is what's tough. I'll be having my 4th in a few weeks. Good luck!
