Geritol and prenatal vitamins?

I've seen a lot about taking the geritol multi vitamin - "a baby in a bottle." But is it safe to take it and prenatal vitamins? They say geritol is high in iron which is good but my prenatal has 156% of my daily iron needs. So ... Would I have an "iron overload" by taking both? Or would I double my chances? I'm willing to try anything but I don't want to kill myself with too much iron or any other mineral.

You could take to much. If you're already over 100% I don't think I'd take any more. Talk to your doctor and see what they recommend.

You won't double your chances, if you're worried I'd ask my dr just to be sure. I was told by mine though that you'd need A LOT to have too much, and that in amount such as supplements and multi vitamins I will just urinate out the excess vitamin or mineral

Just FYI, my doctor said you shouldn't take both and they recommend just the prenatals.

This frustrates me to no end, though. I got my hopes up that this might work. I've been taking prenatals for almost 5 years and they don't help.

Thanks y'all! I just emailed my doctor. Like I said, I'm to the point now I'll try anything. We can afford IUI or anything so I'm grasping at straws. :)
