2 months old! Will his eyes stay blue? The wait is killing me!!

I was told me and my husband had 6% chance of blue eyes since I have dark brown eyes and so does my husband. My son came out with beautiful blue eyes and dirty blonde hair.

Our pediatrician says that babies eyes can change up until they are 3. He also said that usually they will be whatever color they are gonna be by age 1 but still possible to change after. My husband has brown eyes and I have hazel. Our chances of a blue eyed baby are pretty low. My 19 month old was born with eyes the color of blueberries. As she has gotten older they have gotten lighter and lighter and now they are a silver gray blue. Doctor says because they are such a light blue they will probably stay. Only 2 people out of both our families have blue eyes. My brother and my grandmother. Our 8 week old was born with eyes so dark blue they were almost black. They have started getting lighter but its still really hard to tell what color they are now nevermind what color they will turn.

My son also has blue eyes, he’s just turned 2 so they may not change anytime soon. We have brown and green eyes but my grandmother and great-grandmother both had bright blue eyes. Sometimes genes can just skip a generation so they won’t change, or they’re just late with changing. Either way enjoy the blues while they last, or even just enjoy them forever 😍

I was 100% sure there was no chance my daughter would have blue eyes but she turned 3 last month and she still has beautiful blue eyes! I still feel like they could change but I hope not!

My son was born with dark blue eyes. His dad and paternal grandparents all have blue eyes. I have hazel eyes. According to all the genetic things I read he had a 50/50 chance of having blue eyes. He’s 14mos now and they’ve consistently stayed the same shade. I’d be shocked if they ended up changing a different color.

You son's eyes remind me of my son's eyes. My son is 17 months now (so basically 1.5 years) and his eyes are a blue and brown hazel. 
My husband has dark brown eyes and I have green and brown hazel eyes. We both have relatives with blue eyes as well as relatives with green eyes. So the genetics are in there but we both still thought we would have brown eyes babies. My daughter is still young (only 5 months) but it looks like her eyes will be similar to her brother's.
