Constipated baby?!

I think my formula fed baby might be constipated.  He hasn’t pooped all day! I know it’s normal for a newborn to go days without going, but he usually does 5 times a day. He’s super fussy and when he takes a nap it doesn’t last more than 15-20 minutes which is very unusual for him.  Does anyone know if there’s anything I can do?!

How old is your baby? Up to 4 weeks my baby used to poop after every feeding (mostly breastfed, a little formula) but after 4 weeks he completely stopped and only poops once every 2 days now. As long as the poop is soft and not red or white then he’s fine. Don’t go sticking Q tips up his butt or anything like some people say. Just wait and see.

This sounds weird but it works!!! I massage her hole in a circular motion with a wipe..and within an hour she poops.

I read to put Vaseline on the Tip of a q-tip and insert just the tip into the babies butt and that should help get things moving 
I tried it on my 3 week old (nervously of course) and it helped things get going
