Asking too much...

So we've been married a little over a year and it's been rough. As a little girl I always imagined that getting married is like a fairytale. My prince charming would love me forever and ever and treat me like a princess ♡

Being married is hard. I feel that I have expectations of a husband that any other woman would. For example, opening the door for you at the store, or hugging you and embracing you after you've been away for a week on a work trip. Nothing.

My heart feels like continuing to work it out and trying, but my mind is saying, "sweetie, you've been giving it 100% and he's barely putting in 10%."

Words of advice?
