What should I do?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years, and during these 3 years he has not been to the doctors ONCE. It’s disgusting and its really annoying the fuck out of me. He has this nasty cough which he’s had for months, every time we have sex a few days later I’m getting bacterial vaginitis, and I believe he has sleep apnea. Also, when he has a bowl movement his butt bleeds a little. 
I told him about his symptoms and I really want him to get checked because I’m generally scared for his health. So much stuff runs in his family like different types of cancer, diabetes, memory loss, and so much more. 
He just always brushes it off, and says how it’s gone now or he just says yeah I’ll go but I know he’s lying. 
How can I get him to get his ass to the doctors?
He’s 24 going on 25 in a few months.

I think my husband's been to the doctor three times in the 6 1/2 years we've been together. This may be sexist, but I think it's a man thing.

It can’t be that disgusting if your still having sex with him and risking bv everytime....he’s a grown man and at that age he knows he needs to go to the doctor and if it was me i would give him an ultimatum because that’s just gross to be around

It took me 8 years to get my husband to see a dr.  I had to make the appointment and drive him.  Same with the dentist which he hasn't seen in over a decade.  He still won't follow up unless I do it for him.  Some people don't like doctors.

I know it’s horribly sad and mildly sexist, but I make most of my husbands doctors appointment for him bc he just “forgets.” There’s a reason married men live longer, and this a huge part of it.
Also, if you’re getting infections after sex with him, I’d tell him no more sex till he sees a doctor. Who knows what could be wrong. And bloody poop? He could (unlikely but possible) have a life threatening problem and he’s just ignoring it?

Ask him why he hasn’t gone , ask him if you make an appt for him will he go. It could be fear, embarrassment, laziness, or something else .

This isn’t much help but it seems like since he knows what his family history is, he doesn’t want to go, he might be scared? But it’s better to find out and be able to fix the issue early.

I know for my husband if I didn’t make him an appointment he’s not going anywhere. It’s just the type of man he is. Maybe if you made an appointment for him he’d see that it is important to you that he gets checked.
