Did you buy a fetal doppler? And where?

I am currently 27 weeks along and
Yesterday I barely felt the movements of my baby girl 👧🏽 👶🏾 
So I drunk ice cold water and then she moved

My midwife has warned against using them when reduced movements. A Doppler cannot tell you if baby is struggling. 
Her only advice is get seen by professionals i.e. Hospital. 
She sent me an emotional video of a report by a woman who lost her baby because hearing the heartbeat on the Doppler reassured her. 
She said that using the Doppler was the worst thing she's ever done.

I bought the Sonoline B from Baby Doppler when I was about 17 weeks. I used it to check on him when I could feel minor flutters but no kicks yet. Once I started feeling kicks consistently I stopped using it. I had one day where I didn’t feel him for half the day and used it to check on him. So I rarely use it now. I’ll only do it if I haven’t get him for most of the day. I know they have lazy days too so I try not to worry myself about it

I bought one from Groupon they had the sonoline b Doppler on sale

I brought 1 from amazon but I find that my son can go a day or two with out moving a lot then I wake up and my bellies bigger so I think baby just may be tired from growing but I would talk to my doctor rather then relay on the Doppler just in case
