Sleep study???

I was wondering if anybody has gotten a sleep study done. My husband has a terrible time sleeping and it makes me really worried about him. Often times he only gets about 2 hours a night and then his body wakes up and won't sleep no matter how tired he is. We don't have insurance right now so I need to know how much it costs. Maybe we can save up for one. Im so worried for him. It can't be healthy or good for him at all.

My little sister had this done twice. She used to snore really bad and it would disrupt her sleep and cause breathing issues. I don't remember how much it cost but for her they conducted multiple labs at this hotel. The whole first floor was other people doing the same tests. At night she had to sleep in the bed by herself and they attached sensors to help monitor. They also had a camera so in case something happened. Me and my mom were still able to sleep in the same room but they had to give us a separate bed. If my sister moved in her sleep and a sensor moved or fell off, someone would have to come in and readjust.

My husband had a sleep study done last year and the amount we would have had to pay had we not had insurance is $1,567. Sleep studies usually range around $1,500-$2,500 (depending where you live). You can request to do a home sleep study and those are usually around $500. I would call a sleep study clinic where you live and ask what amount you'd be looking at paying! Hope this helps! 😊
