Can you eat cooked or deep fried sushi when your pregnant? I'm only 4 weeks with my first baby and have nooooo idea with anything!! Lol! But I'm craving sushi and I know I cant eat it raw... so looking for another alternative.
If so.. does it matter on the type of fish ?

As long as you eat cooked sushi you'll be fine 😊 just limit the amount of tuna and other fish that are high in mercury

Ask for the Mexican roll! Make sure it’s tempura. Also, just let them know you’re pregnant and they can give you options on cooked sushi :)

Yes :) Fish to avoid are tile fish, king mackrel, swordfish, and shark. Others you should avoid in bulk (tuna is okay once or twice a week I think.) Local freshwater fish you should avoid too just in case.

Is salmon and scallops ok to eat as long as they're cooked?? 😋 I've been craving sushi as well as I would eat it at least once a month but hubby wants me to avoid it 😥

I LOVE sushi and it’s all I’ve been craving. They say raw we shouldn’t eat and my ob said if I just have to have my sushi (which is always fried) that I should ask the person who makes it to make it on a clean board so it doesn’t mix with the raw fish

You can have California, Spider and avacado rolls. My Dr says these only have cooked fish or imitation.
