Best form of birth control?

What kind of side effects have you had as well? I know it’s different for everyone. I’m just wondering which is the best route to go.

Best form of birth control that you can still have sex with and not have a baby in my opinion would be an iud. It’s actually considered the best option as it has the highest success rates out of them all. There’s hormonal and non hormonal. The hormones are so little but still some don’t do well with them so they prefer the copper/paragaurd iud. It’s non hormonal and it doesn’t have that many side effects but it can make your periods really heavy. Usually this only last about 6months then it begins to die down. The hormonal ones effect everyone differently. The hormones are localized so you shouldn’t get many side effects. I actually got an hormonal iud because it’s localized so it won’t interact with my medications and make them not work. The hormone ones can make your periods irregular or completely disappear, some people get moody, cramps and etc.

IUD or Implant, both are over 99% effective & are long term. Implant lasts 3 years & IUD lasts 3-6 or more depending on which one you get. I have an implant, have had it for almost 9 months & like it so far besides the spotting. I also haven’t had a period in like 7 months which has been great. Those are the only side effects I’ve experienced. A friend of mine got it a couple months ago and has just been bleeding though🤦🏻‍♀️. Birth Control does affect everyone differently though
