So I’m not sure if this is unusual or not.. my three year old calls everyone “daddy” even me, sometimes. But he says it more when there’s men around. For example, my boyfriend. If my boyfriend walks out of the room he’ll say, “daaaadyyyy whereee are youuuuu” or “daddddy I loveeee you”

my boyfriend is not my sons dad.....

My sons dad isn’t in the picture at all

I feel horrible and sad for my son that at 3 he’s already doing this.

What should I do. He hardly has a vocabulary so it’s not like he will understand if I tell him that he shouldn’t say that.
