So I used to work as a prep cook before my daughter was born and crazy hours 1-9 pm or sometimes 5am - 1pm and I would have to get the employee bus because where I use to work they do not allow you to drive there they want to save the space for the guests it’s a big business anyways it’s an hour drive so more like 10 hour days not 8 and only get paid 8 and I was making 13.13 an hour and when I was on Fmla my boss said I got another raise but not sure how much. When I had my daughter in March I had her via csection and caught an infection and then had to get my gallbladder removed so my Fmla kept on having to extended one after another to the point where my job could not hold my spot any longer so they let me go but told me I could apply again once I completely heal. My last surgery was August 3rd and now I’m completely healed and my daughter is 8 months old and I can finally spend some time with her and my husband works full time a good job graveyard he makes enough money pays for mortgage, bills, and and everything else. I also decided to get my tubes tied so I signed that paper yesterday now waiting 30 days for phone call to make the appointment. So today my old boss called me wanting to know if I want my job back and says he could get me in there really fast and easy. Now to explain the job it is really hard to get in when you first apply you have to through the first interview, then the second interview, then the investigation process, then the drug test, then the background test, and the third interview but a lot of people don’t make it past the investigation process and since I have worked there for 7 years before I do not need to do all that except for drug test again which I know I’ll pass but the thing is my husband doesn’t want me to go back because of the hours they give me because it interferes with kid pick ups even though they are in a after school program that gets out at 6...so it would just be the baby...while he sleeps and who is gonna watch the baby but I hate putting the burden on him to pay everything..so what should I do?
