UK mommas? 2nd baby question

Hello! Just wondering, for your second baby, did you still have a long first appointment with the midwives? 
Or do they keep your info from the last pregnancy? I’m hoping it’s not going to be another hour and a half like they said in my letter 😅😅😅 
Also were you guys able to bring your other children/child? If it’s really an hour and a half, I think I’m gonna need a babysitter 😅😥😅😥

Mine was over an hour long - and she had my maternity notes from my last baby! I didn’t take my daughter, I got a baby sitter. My letter did suggest not bringing kids as it’s a long appointment.

Im on my second baby but I don’t think my first appointment was anywhere close to an hour, it was different from my first appointment with my first baby. I swear this time felt faster... and they did have notes on my first pregnancy. 
Though it was complicated because my children have different Dad’s and that seems to confuse people. 
I also didn’t take my toddler because she is a bit chaotic. Though I have taken her to two checks I have had and she loves helping the midwife

I was chatting to my midwife a lot and we were looking who my last midwives were in my notes lol - it was deff over and hour tho. Maybe take your kid and it’ll be quicker for you 😂

Mine was about 30min and i had my baby with me! Maybe that's why it was so quick 😂 she just weighed me, took bloods and BP, asked the usual questions and that was it.

I’m on my third and my appt was about 45 minutes. They didn’t have previous notes as both babies were born in a different health trust. My previous pregnancies were both high risk so there was lots of discussion. Had urine and blood taken as well as weight check.
