Ultrasound at 24 weeks?

So far I’ve been getting ultrasounds every 4 weeks and every ultrasound has looked good. Do doctors continue do do ultrasounds after 20 weeks? My 24 week appointment is coming up and I’m wondering if I should bring my mom because she wants to see the baby.

Every doctor is different so I’d call and ask. My doctor does a quick ultrasound at every appointment at no charge, mostly just for fun so we get to see him, but I know usually you only get a handful of ultrasounds when necessary such as the dating scan, Nuchal testing, and anatomy scan.

That’s a lot of ultrasounds. My insurance only covers one ultrasound.

Yeah sounds like alot lol, but every doctor is different. Just tell her not to get her hopes up and take her anyway.

I think only two are standard. I get one at every check up because I have a two vessel cord.

We only get / got 2 . 10 week and 20 week, we won't see him again till he's in our arms
