Yeast infection after coming off BC??

I went off birth control (Microgestin Pill), had period, then a few days later a yeast infection symptoms started. Has anyone else had this happen?

All I know is, I tried to start on the pill, I took one pill and stopped 
And suddenly I had a yeast infection from it! So strange! Anyway the yeast infection just went away after my period and never had another since 😅

I came off BC at the start of this month. I didn't get a yeast infection but I didn't get a lot of vaginal pain and burning on and off for the last few weeks 🤔
