Is slut a legitimate term, does the amount of sex you have measure you as a person or deter people from giving you a chance?

Okay so my junior year of high school, I got around. A lot. But I was the same person, I didn't tell anybody what was going on because it was MY sex life. Yes, word got out but I ignored it, because it was my business and I didn't care what anyone else thought. I was the same person as a virgin than as a "slut" (I don't believe in that word only bc you shouldn't be labeled for your personal life) :)

The amount of people you've had sex with really only affects the varying experiences you've had with sex. Beyond that--no one should feel bad whether or not their number is low or high or anything. The right people in your life aren't going to be judging you for something as circumstantial as the number of other people you've been intimate with. Some people are lucky to have found people who stay in their life for long periods of time...me, I managed to pick some horrible guys the first few times I had sex so none stuck around that long. But does that define me? Hell no
